Legacy of Stone follows the work of Archaeologist Dr. Ronald Williamson and Mohawk Traditionalist Dr. William Woodworth as they combine science with aboriginal traditions and beliefs to better understand a unique archaeological find on the shores of Lake Erie: a flint quarry that was used for thousands of years. The occupation of this site predates European contact and formal tribal associations. These people are a mystery, but this work is helping to create a more complete understanding of their lives, beliefs and their connection to the flint.
