As part of the development of a pedestrian trail system along the former historic rail line on Hamilton Beach, ASI worked with the Hamilton Waterfront Trust to identify cultural heritage landscape elements that could be conserved and highlighted as part of the initiative.
The result was a heritage sensitive design that followed the historic right of way and incorporated light standards, benches and gates that evoke a vibrant time in the life of this historic urban cottaging community.
