1847 bank barn, Erin township.
As part of a draft plan of subdivision submission, ASI was asked
to complete a heritage impact assessment on a property in Erin
Township. Background historic research and field survey revealed an
1833 Georgian farmhouse and a distinctive 1847 bank barn.

1833 stone house with Georgian influences, Erin township.
Both buildings were made of rough cut limestone and further research
revealed that the home of Morgan Crewson Sr. and his family was the
first stone house to be constructed in the township. The buildings
have been retained in situ.
